Hotel California Backwards Message

There are many restaurants that cater to the specific “land” that they are located in, from Creole fare to tasty frozen yogurt, dining in Disneyland or California Adventure should not be ignored. However, bare in mind that Disney dining can get extremely expensive and can prove to be one of the biggest parts of your budget. There are several solutions, however, that will allow you to experience the delicious tastes of Disneyland while still leaving money in your pocket.

If your hotel offers free breakfasts, take advantage of it and fill up with a big tasty meal before you leave for the park in the morning. By doing this, you will curb your appetite and will resist the urge to snack on all the tasty treats that appear on every corner of the park. When lunch time hits, eat something light that will tie you over until dinner time. Eating a delicious, piping hot hand dipped corn dog from the Corn Dog Castle or a sweet chicken teriyaki skewer from the Bengal Barbeque in Adventureland will help tide you over until dinnertime.

Take your food budget and splurge on dinner in the park. There are several places that you can eat which will certainly delight your taste buds. Eating at the Blue Bayou located right inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride will be an exciting adventure for your entire family. The fare is authentic New Orleans Creole complete with jambalaya and bourbon steak. Of course, there are kid-friendly meals as well. This meal will cost you, but if you are mindful during the day of how you spend your food budget, you should be just fine.

Leaving the park at meal times is the very best way that you can save money. There are many options within close walking distance of the park that will help keep your food budget down. Outside of the park you will find restaurants such as McDonald’s, Tony Roma’s and Denny’s.

Save a little of your food budget to splurge on tasty treats such as frozen chocolate bananas, crispy, sugary churros or yummy hand-dipped ice cream cones. There are even super, extra-large dill pickles stewing in a huge mason jar ready for the picking that has proven to be a favorite snack amongst many Disneyland visitors.
